The History of the Ferrante dealershipTony Ferrante started the Vandergrift automobile sales and service business in 1932 and remained active in the dealership all his life.
Tony began selling Cords & Auburns in 1932 and then moved on to become a dealer for Teraplanes & Hudsons. Ferrante Motor Company then became a DeSoto/Plymouth dealer until 1959 when Tony got the Oldsmobile franchise. The dealership sold Oldsmobiles until Oldsmobile decided to stop production with the 2004 models.
Ferrante Motor Cars is now a dealership for Speedster Motor Cars, selling the all new Auburn Speedster 1936 Replica and the Z-Series inspired by the 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. They are also a Zap Motor Car dealer who has acquired the Smart Car. See our Smart car page for more information. Zap also manufactures the electric scooters which are in stock and sold at the dealership. There is a fine collection of fine used cars on their lot. Check out the Used Car page for current listings and pictures. At Ferrante Motor Cars, there is a full service department including body shop, state inspection and emissions. The Dealership is now run by the 2nd and 3rd generation of Ferrantes
